The Leicester fTOE course

The g&h events team has added to their repertoire of hands-on echo and ultrasound courses with the addition of the focused TransOesophageal Echo (fTOE) course.  The fTOE is the newest module within the Intensive Care Society's FUSIC accreditation and has been developed in collaboration with the Association of Anaesthetists.

Our first course will be held in Nottingham on 11 July 2022 and is currently sold out. We are currently one of the only two centres that is running the fTOE course in United Kingdom.

The Midlands FFICM Prep Course

In partnership with PRORVnet, we have successfully developed and run the Midlands FFICM Prep Course since September 2021.

With our excellent team, we have replicated the FFICM Virtual Exam conditions to a high standard. Candidates on the most recent course have given us high praise for the realistic examination conditions and the precise organisation of the course.

Dr Zochios and his experienced FFICM faculty will provide a bespoke mentoring and private tuition programme to help you pass the FFICM.

Remote echo mentoring and tuition

The g&h team developed the highly successful remote echo mentoring programme in 2019 to help those in remote areas in the UK to achieve FUSIC: heart accreditation.

CALS course

Prior to the development of g&h events, our highly successful team developed several nationally recognised critical care courses at a large National Health Service Trust in the United Kingdom.

In addition to running the highly regarded FUSIC: heart and FUSIC: lung, abdomen, and vascular courses, we also established a UK cardiac centre as a CALS (Cardiac surgery Advanced Life Support) Centre of Excellence
